We begin the month of December with the season of Advent, and the color violet that represents the time of waiting. It is the color we see watching the sky before the dawn, as we await the birth of our Savior.

 It is the month also of two great Feasts of the Blessed Mother: the Immaculate Conception, and Our Lady of Guadalupe. Because the Immaculate Conception is a holy day of obligation that falls on Saturday, there will be a multi-cultural Mass on Friday, December 7 at 7PM, and a Saturday morning 7:30 AM Mass to observe her feast day. The Novena for Our Lady of Guadalupe begins on Monday, December 3. A different ministry group will lead the praying of the Rosary each evening at 6:30PM followed by Holy Mass at 7PM.
